Sealants, pastes & gels
These materials are usually quite soft & sticky when freshly extruded.
We have special blades to handle this type of extrusion to ensure a clean cut end with no smearing or debris.
Normally there will only be a short conveyor or roller support between the exit of the extruder die & the inlet guide of the free-standing Servo-Torq® rotary cutter.
After cutting the lengths are usually transported by another conveyor belt into an inline flow-wrapper packing machine.
