Multi-layer fuel tube

Multi-layer fuel tube

Multi-layer fuel tubing is normally manufactured from polyamide (PA) with interior barrier layers resistant to permeation by hydrocarbons.

These barrier layers are typically made from PVDF, EFEP, PBT, EVOH or similar. The fuel tubes normally have outer diameters 4 – 12 mm, but can be up to 30 mm. Wall thicknesses range up to 1.5 mm.

Due to the multi-wall structure of these tubes, they can be extremely hard to cut. Our Servo-Torq® cutting technology can help ensure a clean, square cut end with no cracks or delamination between the layers.
