Graphite sections & profiles
These solid sections & profiles are usually produced on a ram extruder or similar.
The heaviest duty Servo-Torq® rotary cutter is normally required for these applications. We can fit torque enhancer gearboxes to triple the servo motor power.
A free-standing cutter is normally used for this application, with a short conveyor between the extruder die & the inlet into the cutting machine.
Robust knife blades are used to handle the extremely abrasive nature of extruded graphite.
