By using the latest in digital camera or laser technology we can offer a fast & highly accurate Servo-Torq cutting system for cuffed & corrugated plastic tubing.
The laser system provides a good general-purpose solution for cuff cutting. It is suitable for most automotive related applications such as multilayer PA fuel or washer tubing.
The digital camera is available as an alternative. It takes a continuous image of the tube as it passes by at normal extrusion line speed. A high intensity LED array provides a powerful back-light to create a sharp silhouette of the cuff, vital for accuracy. The exact cut point is determined off-line using the Windows software provided.
In all cases precise cutting on the cuff is guaranteed, even at higher speeds. A number of different cut lengths can be handled per corrugation chain, along with several scrap cut lengths.
Where the tube diameter changes we can offer a clamp system as an optional extra.
